after the little Buell, we move up to the BMW
This was our first ‘real’ bike. 800cc’s of Bavarian (well, Austrian as rotax makes the motor) fury. We still have this bike, I take it out when the SV is otherwise incapacitated.
Again, we bought this one new. Throew on a Ztech screen, a SW-Motech crash cages, some givi crash bars, some cheap levers and a DIY tail tidy. currently has something like 30K km (over 3 years)

The reflector on the fork looks funny.

the whole bikes looks a little funny :D. if they gave it a legit sportbike fairing (and none of this naked stuff) and make a F800RR, that would be an awesome bike

Haha, any bike makes me want to get back on one.
I’m thinking about a new CBR500R. You seem to be the most knowledgeable bike guy I know around here. So what do you think?

bike* and the bike stuff is pretty good. not the best, but they have a lot of torque

I like them. not too stong, not too weak. if you have some prior experience and just want to get back into it, its probably one of the best bikes you can get for that purpose

i said auto because i wasnt sure if they made car/snowmobile/etc. i know their A/C engines have this weird thing that they basically snap to a stop in a way that cant possibly be good for the engine. every time i see a plane with a rotax shut down it makes me cringe so I was curious about their other products.
